Summary: The Oracle Supply Chain (SCM) - Business Systems Analyst role requires expertise in Healthcare Oracle Cloud SCM, focusing on key modules such as Inventory, Procurement, and Payables. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical expertise to support business application systems.
- Assist users in utilizing business application systems and resolve production system issues.
- Analyze new business requirements and create specifications to meet them.
- Lead system testing, cross-functional teams integration testing, and end-user acceptance testing.
- Design or modify complex systems and procedures.
- Consult with Health and Campus Accounting Office, and Supply Chain Management on business requirements.

- Preferably a local candidate On-site will be limited to a few times a month during critical all-hands/testing cycles.
Information Technology (IT) supports campus-wide business applications, including the enterprise wide ERP system for both Supply Chain and Financials including but not limited to: the PeopleSoft Financials system, AllScripts (Health procurement system), BearBuy (Campus procurement system), and IT Recharge system. The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides functional and technical expertise to support these business application systems. This expertise includes daily production system support, implementation of new enhancements, and upgrades of current systems.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst assists users in using the business application systems; resolve production system issues; up to and including the most complex, analyze new business requirements; create specification to meet new requirements; lead system testing, cross-functional teams integration testing, and end-user acceptance testing.
Initiates, designs or modifies highly complex systems and procedures where standardized policies or procedures may or may not exist. Creates highly technical specifications for Supply Chains systems with broad impact at a campus / medical center / OP or within a large organization. Develops unit integration and acceptance testing plans and scenarios. Acts independently and may lead cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues.
- Independently consults with Health and Campus Accounting Office, and Supply Chain Management in analysis of business requirements and process needs.
- Designs system solutions to meet organizational need and improve business operation efficiencies.
- Independently performs analysis, up to and including the most complex, of system integration issues and creates/updates new and existing interface specifications / requirements between the ERP and third party systems
- Applies advanced software concepts to plan, design, develop, modify, debug, deploy and evaluate highly complex software for functional areas.
- Analyzes existing highly complex software or works to formulate logic and devises algorithms for new highly complex software systems.
- Performs highly complex data analysis and tests / debugs highly complex software, working directly with management.
- Initiates, analyzes, designs and applies highly complex data sources. Applies and enforces complex programming security practices.
- Maintains/Troubleshoots System Interfaces To/From Supply Chain system to:
Apex (EHR), Pyxis (Departmental Supply Item Inventory System), PFM (AP system), Peopelsoft (GL system), other university systems - Applies advanced concepts in working on database projects.
- Prepares and obtains approval for system and programming documentation
