Summary: DBA required to support Oracle and SQL Server databases within the Dragonfly secure environment, ensuring performance, availability, and stability of BAU services. The role is hybrid, with 80% office and 20% home working. Candidates must have active SC clearance, with MOD SC clearance preferred. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and tune Oracle & SQL Server databases
  • Manage incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Perform backups, restores, patching, and upgrades
  • Support HA/DR (eg AlwaysOn, Data Guard/RAC)
  • Ensure security and compliance in a secure environment

Key Skills:

  • Strong Oracle and/or SQL Server DBA experience
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise
  • Backup/restore and HA/DR knowledge
  • ITIL/managed service experience preferred
