Summary: The Oracle Consultant role in North East England involves designing, developing, and implementing Oracle database applications for higher education institutions. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement with 2 to 3 days on-site per week and is initially for a duration of 3 to 6 months. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle database applications to support institutional needs, including student information systems, finance systems, and human resources systems.
  • Perform database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring to ensure optimal database performance and availability.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration between Oracle databases and other institutional systems.
  • Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse system needs, and design solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of database design, data modelling, and normalization.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator).

Salary (Rate): £500 daily

Oracle Consultant North East England (Hybrid) - 2/3 days per week on site 3-6 months initially £400 - £500 (Outside IR35) Previous Higher Education working experience is a MUST HAVE!
