Summary: The Oracle HCM Functional Lead role requires a strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, with experience in full lifecycle implementations and data migration. The position involves stakeholder management and communication across various technical levels, particularly in larger companies within the energy or utility sector. The candidate should also be familiar with information security management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Oracle HCM Cloud implementations from design to deployment.
- Manage data migration processes from EBS and other systems to HCM Cloud.
- Write functional specifications for data migration routines and define data mappings.
- Support end-to-end data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Demonstrate stakeholder management across various levels of the organization.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain awareness of information security management frameworks.

Skills/Experience
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, covering Core HR, Payroll, Absence Mgmt, Time & Labour and preferably Workforce Scheduling and LMS.
- Experience of moving from eBusiness Suite to Oracle Cloud
- Full lifecycle experience of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations from design, build, test through to deployment
- Experience in Data Migration from both EBS and from other systems to HCM Cloud from a functional perspective, which would include writing functional specs for DM routines, defining data mappings, and supporting the end-to-end process, including data validation and reconciliation
- A background in working in projects, preferably with larger companies (e.g. FTSE 100)
- Exposure to infrastructure and multi-platform environments; preferably within the energy or utility sector.
- Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management at most levels, including management, Information Technology colleagues and business representatives.
- Explaining to and communicating with both non-technical and very technical audiences
- You should have awareness of common Information Security management frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, Information Security Forum and NIST.
