Summary: The Oracle Fusion HCM Systems Administration Lead is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing and improving a live Oracle Fusion HCM environment, particularly in Absence Management. The position requires strong functional expertise in HCM, the ability to mentor a small team, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be involved in system configuration, support, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring effective team guidance. This role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity of the HCM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, maintenance, and support of Oracle Fusion HCM (especially Absence)
- Act as the go-to SME for HCM modules, supporting ongoing improvements and issue resolution
- Support and guide a small systems admin team, providing mentoring and day-to-day direction
- Own incidents, service requests, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver enhancements
- Support change, release, and quarterly updates, including testing (UAT/regression)
- Ensure system configuration is well documented and controlled
- Collaborate with third-party providers and internal teams to maintain service performance
- Drive continuous improvement across HCM processes and system usage

Oracle Fusion HCM Systems Administration Lead - URGENT
This is a key hire - Hands-On Oracle HCM Lead
We're looking for a hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Systems Administration Lead to take ownership of a live, business-critical environment.
This role will suit someone who combines strong functional HCM expertise (especially Absence) with the ability to lead and mentor a small team, while remaining close to configuration, support, and continuous improvement activity.
This role requires someone who is:
Hands-on with Oracle HCM configuration
Comfortable supporting and improving a live system
Able to lead from the front while mentoring others
You will play a key role in running and improving the Oracle Fusion HCM platform in BAU, with a particular focus on:
Absence Management (critical)
Core HR and HCM modules
Day-to-day system administration and support
Leading a small team of analysts/admins
This is a hands-on leadership role - ideal for someone who still enjoys being close to the system while providing direction and oversight.
