Summary: As an Oracle Fusion HCM Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Fusion HCM solutions, focusing on Core HR, Absence, Recruitment, and Talent Management modules for UK Public Sector clients. This role requires leading client engagements, managing integrations, and providing expert guidance throughout all project phases. You will utilize hands-on configuration experience and functional expertise to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are essential for translating complex solutions into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM modules — particularly Core HR, Absence, Recruitment, and Talent Management — for UK-based clients.
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Apply hands-on configuration and demonstrate in-depth functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM within the UK Public Sector context.
- Plan and execute testing cycles — including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) — ensuring quality and compliance throughout.
- Provide post-implementation support (hypercare) to ensure smooth transition to steady-state operations.
- Utilize and guide others in using key HCM technical tools, including: HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, BI Publisher / OTBI Reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader (PBL).
- Lead discussions around integrations, data migrations, and reporting related to Core HR, Recruitment, and Talent modules.
- Translate complex technical and functional solutions into clear, actionable insights for technical teams, business users, and senior leadership.
- Prepare and conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) / Playback sessions, training materials, and user training sessions.
- Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and change management.
- Create and maintain documentation, including Business Process Specifications, Configuration Workbooks, Testing Scripts, and Change Requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues efficiently while maintaining client satisfaction.

- Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant / Functional Lead, specifically within Core HR, Recruitment, and Talent Management.
- Hands-on expertise in HCM Data Loader, HCM Extracts, BI Reporting, Fast Formulas, and PBL.
