Summary: The Oracle Fusion Developer role involves developing and testing Oracle Fusion HCM reports, ensuring alignment with business requirements. The position requires ownership of reporting requirements and collaboration with HCM Workstream Leads to deliver implementation plans. The developer will also manage risks and produce project documentation while maintaining a strong customer focus and effective communication across various business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test Oracle Fusion HCM reports ensuring alignment with business and project requirements.
- Take ownership of gathering and technical delivery of reporting requirements (both functional and non-functional).
- Work with Oracle HCM Workstream Leads and SMEs to deliver the HCM Implementation Plan.
- Provide gap analyses of as-is and to-be reporting for HCM and address these gaps.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies of the HCM Reporting Workstream, mitigate, and manage as required.
- Produce a range of project documentation, including specs, strategies, project plans, and RAID items.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Maintain a strong customer/client focus and manage expectations appropriately.
- Interact with staff at all levels and understand business imperatives.
- Demonstrate strong organisation and communication skills.
- Work well under minimal supervision.
- Exhibit team-oriented interpersonal skills and interface effectively with a broad range of people.
- Interpret complex technical solutions and understand their impact and implementation.
Key Skills:
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Experience in developing and testing Fusion HCM Reports, including OTBI, Oracle BI Publisher reports, data models, Datasets, and RTF templates.
- Ability to build custom formulas, sophisticated reports, and dashboards within OTBI.
- Excellent SQL query performance tuning skills.
- Experience with scheduling report jobs and bursting BIP reports to end users.
- Background in working on projects, preferably with larger companies (e.g., FTSE 100).
- Exposure to infrastructure and multi-platform environments, preferably within the energy or utility sector.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills at various levels.
- Ability to communicate with non-technical audiences.
- Awareness of common Information Security management frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, Information Security Forum, and NIST.
