Summary: The Oracle Financials Functional Consultant role at Harvey Nash is a 3-month contract position inside IR35, offering up to £625 a day. The consultant will work primarily on the Finance and Project Accounting components of a project aimed at integrating Oracle eBusiness Suite with third-party applications. The position requires some onsite work in Reading and involves collaboration with a small team of functional consultants. Key Responsibilities:
- Specification, implementation and testing of application configuration changes.
- Functional design of application customisations, including integrations with other applications.
- Support for integration, acceptance, regression and performance testing with issue investigation, diagnosis and resolution.
- Support for cutover to live operation and post go-live warranty support.
- Support and guidance on Financials and Project Accounting modules to functional colleagues responsible for implementation of Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite / R12 Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge of Project Accounting and Costing.
- Strong functional consulting skills.
- Ability to design and implement application customisations.
- Experience in testing and issue resolution.

The role holder will be a key member of a small team of functional consultants responsible for the Finance and Project Accounting components of a project to design and implement changes to integrate eBusiness Suite with third party applications as part of a business transformation programme delivering business benefits in the area of cost management.
The role holder will be responsible for:
- Specification, implementation and testing of application configuration changes
- Functional design of application customisations, including integrations with other applications.
