Summary: The role of Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12 Financials functional consultant involves overseeing the implementation and management of various financial modules within Oracle eBusiness Suite. The consultant will lead project execution, manage integrations, and provide expert guidance while supporting user acceptance testing. This position is a 3-month contract that requires hybrid working in Reading or Havant. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Module Management: Oversee the implementation and management of GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, AGIS, and eBusiness Tax modules.
- Additional Knowledge: Utilize experience with AP, AR, and Project Accounting modules.
- Integration: Manage the integration of third-party packages and bespoke applications with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
- Project Execution: Lead the creation of a new Operating Unit (OU) within the business.
- Configuration and Testing: Amend and test application configuration setups and integrations for the new OU.
- Support: Provide support for user acceptance testing and the transition to live operation.
- Expert Guidance: Act as the core Financials subject matter expert, supporting and guiding functional colleagues responsible for other modules.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12, specifically in the Financials modules.
- Qualified accountant with a strong background in finance.
- Familiarity with AP, AR, and Project Accounting modules.
- Strong understanding of integrating third-party packages and custom applications with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
