Summary: The Oracle EBS HCM Technical Consultant role requires an experienced professional with 8-10 years of expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules and strong technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within the HCM modules, including custom forms and reports. The position involves collaboration with functional consultants and adherence to coding standards and best practices. The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid working arrangement of three days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support technical solutions within Oracle EBS HCM modules.
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain Custom Forms and Oracle Reports using Oracle Developer Suite.
- Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
- Work on data conversions, interfaces, and integrations with external systems.
- Provide technical support for HR modules, troubleshooting issues and resolving defects.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and Benefits.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports development.
- Strong knowledge of Fast Formula development and customization.
- Experience with EBS APIs, Open Interfaces, and Concurrent Programs.
- Understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing code and processes.
