Summary: The Oracle EBS Functional Specialist will support Oracle HCM and EBS HR, focusing on the HR/Payroll module. This contract role requires expertise in resolving functional incidents, system testing, and managing enhancements within the EBS framework. The position involves collaboration with senior business users to analyze requirements and provide user guidance. The role is primarily office-based with occasional remote work for team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Oracle HCM and EBS HR, specifically the HR/Payroll module.
  • Resolve functional incidents and problems in a timely manner.
  • Design, develop, test, and roll out enhancements to the HR/Payroll module.
  • Provide support and development input for new EBS module developments.
  • Manage existing EBS configurations, customizations, and extensions.
  • Investigate root causes for errors and manage Service Requests and Bugs with Oracle.
  • Provide user advice and guidance on the Payroll module and other EBS modules.
  • Support project and enhancement releases, including regulatory requirements and software upgrades.
  • Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance and Regression Testing.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) version 12.2.9, particularly HR/Payroll module.
  • Basic Oracle SQL and Workflow development knowledge.
  • Experience with Oracle eBusiness HRMS applications in a multi-org setup.
  • Knowledge of OA Framework and BI Publisher.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems.
  • Experience in supporting project releases and implementing software upgrades.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is beneficial but not essential.
