Oracle EBS Functional Specialist - HR/Payroll

Summary: The Oracle EBS Functional Specialist will support Oracle HCM and EBS HR, focusing on the HR/Payroll module. This contract role requires expertise in resolving functional incidents, system testing, and managing enhancements within the EBS framework. The position involves collaboration with senior business users to analyze requirements and provide user guidance. The role is primarily office-based with occasional in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve functional incidents and problems related to the HR/Payroll module within Oracle EBS.
• Design, develop, test, and roll out enhancements and additions to the HR/Payroll module.
• Support existing EBS configuration, customizations, and extensions, managing service requests and bugs.
• Provide user advice and guidance on the Payroll module and other EBS modules as needed.
• Work with senior business users to establish and analyze new requirements and maintain specifications.
• Support project and enhancement releases, including regulatory requirements and software upgrades.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the HR/Payroll Module within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) version 12.2.9.
• Experience in Oracle SQL and Workflow development for Oracle eBusiness.
• Familiarity with Release 12 of Oracle eBusiness HRMS applications.
• Ability to manage service requests and effectively troubleshoot issues.
• Experience in user acceptance and regression testing.
• Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems.
