Summary: The Oracle EBS Functional Specialist - HR/Payroll role at SSE involves leveraging expertise in Oracle eBusiness Suite to enhance and support the HR/Payroll module. The position requires resolving functional incidents, designing and developing system enhancements, and providing user guidance. This role is pivotal in driving the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability within the energy sector. Candidates will work closely with senior business users to analyze requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve functional incidents and problems within the HR/Payroll Module of Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) version 12.2.9.
- Design, develop, test, and roll out enhancements and additions to the HR/Payroll module.
- Support existing EBS configuration, customizations, and extensions, managing service requests and bugs.
- Provide user advice and guidance on the Payroll module and other EBS modules such as HR, OTL, OPA, or Self Service.
- Establish and analyze new requirements with senior business users and maintain accurate specifications.
- Support project and enhancement releases, including regulatory and statutory requirements, security patches, and software upgrades.
- Demonstrate technical experience in Oracle SQL and Workflow development for Oracle eBusiness.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, specifically HR/Payroll module.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and Workflow development.
- Knowledge of Release 12 of Oracle eBusiness HRMS applications.
- Experience with unit testing and support for User Acceptance and Regression Testing.
- Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems and requests.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud is beneficial but not essential.
