Summary: The EBS Financials Functional Consultant role at Harvey Nash is a 3-month contract position requiring onsite work in Reading. The consultant will be integral to a team focused on the Finance and Project Accounting components of a project aimed at separating part of a client's business into a new Operating Unit within the eBusiness Suite. Responsibilities include application configuration changes, functional design of customizations, and support for various testing phases. This role is classified as inside IR35 with a daily rate of up to £625.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small team of functional consultants on Finance and Project Accounting components.
- Design and implement changes to integrate eBusiness Suite with third-party applications.
- Specify, implement, and test application configuration changes.
- Provide functional design for application customizations and integrations.
- Support integration, acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
- Assist in issue investigation, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support cutover to live operation.
- Provide guidance on Financials and Project Accounting modules to colleagues.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite / R12.
- Strong knowledge of Financials, Cost, and Inventory management.
- Ability to design and implement application changes.
- Experience in testing and issue resolution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The role holder will be a key member of a small team of functional consultants responsible for the Finance and Project Accounting components of a project to separate part of our clients business into a new Operating Unit within eBusiness Suite and for designing and implementing changes to integrate eBusiness Suite with third party applications as part of a business transformation programme delivering business benefits in the areas of cost and inventory management.
You will be responsible for the specification, implementation and testing of application configuration changes, and for the functional design of application customisations, including integrations with other applications.
Support integration, acceptance, regression and performance testing with issue investigation, diagnosis and resolution, and thereafter will support cutover to live operation.
The role holder will be expected to provide support and guidance on Financials and Project Accounting modules to functional colleagues responsible for implementation of Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management and Order Management modules.
