Summary: The Oracle eBS DBA role involves providing continuous support and maintenance for Oracle databases and the technical stack that supports Oracle E-Business Suite applications. This is a contract position for a large UK-based client, requiring expert knowledge in Oracle EBS and database administration. The role is hybrid, based in Reading, and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Oracle databases and technical stack for Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
- Administer Oracle EBS R12.2 application, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades.
- Manage multi-node EBS environments, including Concurrent Managers and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer issues.
- Perform Oracle 19c database administration, maintenance, security implementation, and performance tuning.
- Install, configure, and maintain multi-node Oracle RAC enabled databases and manage Oracle ASM and CRS.
- Administer Oracle Enterprise Command Center, OBIEE, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Autonomous database management as needed.
Key Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2 application administration.
- Experience with multi-node EBS environments and Concurrent Managers.
- Proficient in Oracle 19c database administration and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and CRS management.
- Familiarity with PL/SQL, shell, and Perl scripting for automation.
