Summary: The Oracle E-Business Suite Developer role involves designing, developing, and enhancing Oracle eBusiness Suite solutions to support critical finance processes within a leading management consultancy's finance technology transformation program. The position requires collaboration with finance stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development. The role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in London and offers an initial six-month contract with strong extension potential. The engagement is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the Oracle eBusiness Suite environment.
  • Deliver Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development across finance-related applications and integrations.
  • Support and enhance core finance processes including Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop integrations and interfaces across the Oracle landscape, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Contribute to system enhancements, process improvements, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience developing within Oracle eBusiness Suite (R12 preferred).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development.
  • Functional understanding of at least one or more of: Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver practical technical solutions.
  • Oracle JDeveloper / ADF development experience (desirable).
  • Integration experience using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP services, or related technologies (desirable).
  • Experience working within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments (desirable).
  • Exposure to finance transformation or ERP modernisation programmes (desirable).

We are supporting a leading management consultancy delivering a large-scale finance technology transformation programme for a Financial Services client. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Oracle eBusiness Technology Developer to join a high-performing delivery team.

This role sits at the intersection of Oracle development and finance systems, focusing on the design, development, and enhancement of Oracle eBusiness Suite solutions supporting critical finance processes.
