Summary: The Oracle Fusion Developer role involves developing and testing Oracle Fusion HCM reports for a leading energy provider in the UK. The position requires collaboration with HCM Workstream Leads and Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with business requirements. The developer will also be responsible for gap analysis, risk management, and producing project documentation. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Reading for two days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of gathering and delivering technical reporting requirements (both functional and non-functional)
- Work closely with the company's HCM Workstream Leads and Subject Matter Experts to implement the HCM Implementation Plan
- Provide gap analyses of the current and desired reporting for HCM, and develop solutions to address these gaps
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies within the HCM Reporting Workstream, and proactively manage and mitigate them
- Produce a range of project documentation, including specifications, strategies, project plans, and RAID items
- Translate complex technical concepts and terminology for non-technical audiences
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in developing Oracle Reports in OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle Fusion HCM (HR and Payroll), including HCM Extracts
- Ability to build custom formulas, sophisticated reports, and dashboards within OTBI
- Excellent SQL query performance tuning skills
- Experience with scheduling report jobs and bursting BIP reports to end users
- A background in working on projects, preferably with larger companies
- Exposure to infrastructure and multi-platform environments, ideally within the energy or utility sector
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
