Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Oracle database administration duties, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Set up, configure, and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enhance continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Utilize Ansible to automate infrastructure and application deployment, improving operational efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and manage vSphere environments, specifically tailored around Oracle database servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of Oracle database environments.
  • Manage storage solutions, networking concepts, and virtualization technologies to enhance infrastructure reliability.
  • Provide expert advice, support, and solutions to internal stakeholders on Oracle database-related projects.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, especially in the setup, configuration, and management of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in automation using Ansible for infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a vSphere Engineer, with significant exposure to designing, implementing, and managing vSphere environments for Oracle database servers.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage solutions, and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
