Summary: The Oracle Database Administrator role involves managing and optimizing Oracle databases, including user creation, high availability solutions, and migrations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating users and allocating them to appropriate table spaces with necessary privileges and roles for all databases.
  • Implementing high availability solutions with Oracle RAC and managing physical and logical standby databases.
  • Conducting Oracle migrations and upgrades, particularly from 11g to 19c on Linux platforms.
  • Managing schemas, objects, and partitioning tables and indexes.
  • Troubleshooting database issues and performance tuning.
  • Understanding client business needs to provide practical solutions.
  • Managing database capacity effectively.
  • Handling database migrations from physical to Oracle Cloud.
  • Coordinating Oraas Grid migrations and DB split strategies.
  • Utilizing PL/SQL for database management.
  • Exhibiting strong communication and troubleshooting skills.

Key Skills:

  • Fluency in French.
