The client is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join their Shared Services - Database Platforms team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on mission-critical systems and contribute to a major cloud transformation initiative.

?? About the Role

This is a hands-on technical role supporting high-availability Oracle environments, both on-premise (Exadata) and in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You'll be part of a collaborative team that supports production systems, development environments, and strategic cloud migration projects.

This is not a pure support role-each team member contributes to project delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support large, multi-terabyte Oracle databases
• Contribute to cloud migration projects (OCI, Azure)
• Lead patching and security compliance activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders on new project onboarding
• Participate in on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work

? What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience :

• 5+ years as an Oracle DBA (Oracle 19c & 23ai)
• Strong SQL & PL/SQL skills
• Experience with RMAN, Dataguard, OEM, and MAA architectures
• Linux administration (OEL/Redhat) and Shell scripting
• Proven experience in performance tuning and patching

Desirable Skills:

• Exadata, RAC, ZFS
• Oracle APEX, Delphix
• Git, Azure DevOps, DevOps tooling
• Experience with Oracle in the Cloud (OCI, Azure)
