Oracle Data Engineer

Summary: The Oracle Data Engineer role involves supporting a complex CRM/customer data environment for a leading UK consultancy in the financial services sector. The position requires expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, along with experience in data migration, cleansing, and improving data quality. The role also demands a strong understanding of data flows and integration with REST APIs. This is a 12-month contract position based in Guildford, with a requirement for on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a complex CRM/customer data environment.
• Utilize strong Oracle SQL & PL/SQL skills for complex queries, packages, and procedures.
• Conduct data migration and cleansing across large, integrated systems.
• Identify data gaps and improve data quality across multiple platforms.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and system integration.
• Understand end-to-end data flows and customer data challenges.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Proven experience in data migration and cleansing.
• Ability to identify data gaps and improve data quality.
