Summary: The Oracle Data Administrator role is focused on maintaining accurate master data within Oracle systems, supporting reporting and analytics, and ensuring data governance and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking of supplier details and bank detail evidence where suppliers self-register on to our Oracle system
  • Manual setting up of suppliers (primarily social care direct payment clients)
  • Understanding of the CIS registration process
  • Familiarity with the use of bank detail verification where requests are made for the changing of bank details by suppliers
  • Understanding of the need to protect people's data and challenge service areas where they submit personal bank information which isn't appropriately redacted
  • Prevention of data breaches

Oracle Data Administrator

Needs to be someone who has operated supplier registration.

The role exists to maintain accurate master data within Oracle (across Finance, HR and Procurement), support reporting and analytics, and ensure data governance and compliance within the Council's Oracle Fusion and EPM systems.
