Summary: The Oracle CPQ Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle CPQ configurations and processes, with a focus on integrating with various CRM and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle CPQ configurations, commerce processes, and document engine templates.
- Develop and maintain BML (BigMachines Language) scripts for complex pricing, quoting logic, and rule-based product configuration.
- Integrate Oracle CPQ with systems like Oracle CRM, Salesforce, Oracle EBS, or other ERP/CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, operations, and IT to define and gather requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pricing, product configurations, and quote-to-cash workflows.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Develop unit tests, perform debugging, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, configuration, and customizations.
- Stay current with Oracle CPQ updates and recommend improvements and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines).
- Proficient in BML scripting and Oracle CPQ development tools.
- Experience with CPQ modules: Configuration, Commerce, Document Engine, and Integration.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) processes.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with CRM/ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Oracle CPQ Certification(s).
- Experience integrating with Salesforce, Oracle CX, or Oracle ERP Cloud.
