About The Role We’re seeking a talented Oracle Commerce Cloud Software Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript, CSS, and React to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our eCommerce, My Account, and Portal experiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions on the Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform. Your work will have a direct impact on the user experience of our customers and partners, helping to create seamless, intuitive digital journeys.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the eCommerce platform and its associated integrations, ensuring stability and performance.
• Design, develop, test, and document features and enhancements across the platform, maintaining high code quality through peer reviews.
• Investigate and resolve escalations and incidents, ensuring timely issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to the planning and design of platform changes, participating in assessments and shaping the release cycle.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to manage release schedules, communicate progress, and maintain accurate documentation and JIRA updates.
• Support the technical design and implementation of platform enhancements, third-party integrations, and new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable technical solutions aligned with long-term technology goals.
• Conduct technical analysis of business requirements, producing clear and thorough technical documentation for proposed system changes.
• Own the unit and development testing of code before transitioning to QA or other teams for further testing.

About you Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. 5+ years of hands-on development experience with relevant programming languages and technologies. Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce development, with a strong understanding of eCommerce principles and customer journeys. Preferred experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC), including integrations with Oracle Fusion via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Prior experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is an advantage. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS, with a focus on delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences. Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git for project tracking, collaboration, and version control. Familiarity with build pipelines and source control tools in modern development environments. Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying technical risks and proposing effective solutions within a collaborative team. Understanding of SEO best practices and managing search settings is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and non-technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders. Strong ability to prioritise tasks based on business value and urgency.
