Summary: The Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant role is focused on providing ongoing support and enhancements for a live Oracle Cloud system that serves over 20,000 users within the Scottish Government. The consultant will manage regular upgrades and extend the system's capabilities across various government entities. This position requires a minimum of five years of continuous residency in the UK and specific experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role is based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh, Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the live operational system across HR, ERP, and EPM modules.
- Deliver system enhancements and improvements as required.
- Manage and coordinate Oracle monthly and quarterly upgrades.
- Extend the Oracle Cloud solution to additional Scottish Government bodies.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years UK residency.

The end client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to join their Shared Services Program. This program, which went live in October 2024, encompasses HR, ERP, and EPM modules and serves over 20,000 users. The role will focus on ongoing support for the live system, implementing enhancements, managing regular Oracle upgrades (monthly and quarterly), and expanding the system's reach to additional Scottish Government entities.
