Summary: The Oracle Cloud Programme Director will lead the delivery of a significant ERP (SaaS) programme for an international organization, overseeing the entire lifecycle from business case to post-go-live stabilization. This role requires strong governance and integration with complex legacy systems while ensuring value for money and user transition across the UK and Europe. The position demands expertise in managing large-scale ERP implementations, particularly with Oracle Fusion or Workday. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall programme leadership, governance, planning, budget control, and benefits realisation
- Manage system integrators, vendors, and internal teams; act as the commercial lead
- Define target operating models, integration strategy, and standardisation vs customisation decisions
- Lead change, adoption, training, deployment, cutover, and hypercare
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, and Rail Operations
Key Skills:
- Proven delivery of large (£5m+) ERP programmes using Oracle Fusion or Workday
- Strong knowledge of Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, and regulatory compliance

Role Overview:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major, enterprise-wide ERP (SaaS) programme for an international organisation
- Own the full lifecycle: business case, design, build, test, deploy, and post-go-live stabilisation
- Deliver core ERP for Finance, HR & Procurement, with Phase 2 expansion into EPM and RPA/AI
- Ensure strong governance, value for money, and a smooth transition for users across the UK & Europe
- Drive ERP standardisation while integrating with complex, safety-critical legacy environments
