Summary: The Oracle Cloud P2P Lead role involves leading the Purchase to Pay (P2P) stream for a customer implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP. This position requires strong experience in procurement and payables, with responsibilities including design, build, testing, and stakeholder management. The contract is for 12 months and is classified as inside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days a week in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, build and testing for solutions across Purchase to Pay
- Organising and co-ordinating design workshops as well as establishing testing scope and test scripts for P2P
- Creating key project documents including BRD, FSD, Test Scripts, User Manuals and Training Guides.
- Maintaining key stakeholder relationships between business SMEs and Technology colleagues to ensure design requirements are understood and that functional specifications are converted accurately into detail technology specifications.
- Works closely with the Workstream Lead to agree priorities, manage key design, build and test deliverables and ensure delivery of a fully tested solution.
- Owns project status reporting and provides key progress updates to Workstream Change Lead and PMO
- Identifies design, build and test related issues, risks, dependencies and assumptions as they arise; prepares mitigation actions to address these in a timely manner and implement as appropriate
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in Procurement or Payables module or both and can independently work and provide solutions, complete configurations and take up all implementation responsibilities.
- Previously worked through complex requirements to establish options for feasible workarounds and innovative solutions to meet the needs of client teams.
- Ability to work closely with Technology colleagues to develop and create solutions together, bridging business requirements into technical specifications through the design process.
- Experienced and fully confident working through data migration from legacy systems, process and system design and configuration, including Integration design and testing.
- Awareness and having previously designed PaaS solutions, SaaS extensions is preferred.
- Ability to understand the business requirement, map to system features and functions and create design documents and functional specification documents.
- Extensive experience of system implementation life cycle and phases, including the various key documents to be prepared including BRD, FSD, Test scripts, User manuals, Training guides.
- Good knowledge, and experience of Purchase to Pay processes and cycles along with their touchpoints to wider Finance modules within Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Can perform testing activities effectively and train internal teams.
