Summary: The Oracle Cloud HR Helpdesk Consultant role involves providing end-to-end support for Oracle Cloud HR Helpdesk solutions within a high-profile Shared Services programme in Scotland. The consultant will be responsible for configuring helpdesk functionality, supporting system testing and deployment, and ensuring the ongoing success of the platform for over 20,000 users. This position requires a strong background in HR Helpdesk solutions and experience with Oracle HR modules. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support Oracle Cloud HR Helpdesk solutions end-to-end
- Capture and translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Configure and build helpdesk functionality, including agent setup and workflows
- Support testing, deployment, and optimisation of solutions
- Provide ongoing support for a live Oracle HR system
- Assist with monthly and quarterly Oracle upgrades
- Contribute to enhancements and system improvements
- Support the expansion of the platform to additional organisations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, ERP, and EPM
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years UK residency (mandatory)
- Must be UK-based
- Proven experience delivering HR Helpdesk solutions end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with managing helpdesk agents
- Requirements gathering
- Solution configuration/build

Overview
We're seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HR Helpdesk Consultant to join a high-profile Shared Services programme supporting over 20,000 users across HR, ERP, and EPM modules.
Since going live in October 2024, the programme has moved into a critical phase focused on live system support, continuous improvement, and expansion across additional Scottish Government bodies. This role will play a key part in ensuring the ongoing success and evolution of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
