Summary: The Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant role focuses on delivering expertise in Payroll within a major transformation programme. The consultant will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of various HCM modules while ensuring compliance and integration. This position requires hands-on experience with multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the configuration and implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with a focus on Payroll.
- Translate business requirements into Oracle best practice solutions across Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labour.
- Configure Payroll (fast formulas, elements, balances, costing, statutory compliance).
- Support Payroll parallel runs, reconciliation, and HMRC compliance.
- Provide functional support across Core HR, Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labour.
- Conduct workshops and provide guidance to HR and Payroll stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute test scripts (SIT/UAT), support defect resolution.
- Produce documentation (configuration workbooks, training material, process notes).
- Advise stakeholders on risks, opportunities, and best practice across HCM.
Key Skills:
- 8-12 years' Oracle HCM/Payroll experience (EBS and/or Cloud).
- Minimum 2 full Oracle Cloud HCM implementations including Payroll.
- Strong knowledge of UK Payroll legislation (RTI, pensions, auto-enrolment, HMRC compliance).
- Broad coverage of HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Time & Labour).
- Experience with Payroll integrations (Finance, Benefits, Time & Labour).
- Expertise in Fast Formulas, Elements, Balances, Costing.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Proficient with Oracle HCM reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher).

The Role
We are seeking multiple experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant with strong Payroll expertise to support a major transformation programme. The successful candidate will be hands-on across multiple HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Time & Labour), while taking ownership of Payroll delivery to ensure statutory compliance and seamless integration.
This is a delivery-focused role, ideal for someone with multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, covering Payroll alongside wider HCM functionality.
