Summary: The Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant role at Version 1 involves leading and implementing Oracle Cloud Financials modules while providing functional support for technical activities. The consultant will work on diverse projects across various sectors, ensuring effective client support and project delivery. This is an outside IR35 contract position based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and implementing primary Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Configuring Oracle Cloud Instance for Client Proof of Concept.
  • Demonstrating Oracle Cloud Functionality.
  • Overseeing requirements definition, design, and gap analysis.
  • Leading application configuration and functional support of technical activities.
  • Driving solution validation workshops and overseeing testing support.
  • Managing training delivery, post go-live support, and functional implementation advice.
  • Creating high-quality functional specification documentation.
  • Supporting clients through full testing lifecycles and Go Live.
  • Managing change requests and liaising with Oracle for effective client SR management.
  • Ensuring clients are updated with the latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases.
  • Assisting with risk management and change management on projects.
  • Providing status and issue reports to the project manager/client regularly.

Key Skills:

  • Customer-facing expertise in Oracle Cloud (SaaS) modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Reporting tools such as Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence.
  • Ability to identify and document business requirements using Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodology.
  • Strong skills in creating functional specification documentation.
  • Experience in managing testing lifecycles and Go Live processes.
  • Effective communication and project deliverable management skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management and change management practices.
