Oracle Cloud BI Lead (Reporting Lead)

Summary: The Oracle Cloud BI Reporting Lead will oversee the reporting workstream for a significant Oracle Fusion implementation, focusing on stakeholder engagement and leadership in reporting management. This role emphasizes transforming reporting practices by challenging existing requirements and simplifying processes. The successful candidate will ensure a structured and effective reporting approach that aligns with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Oracle Cloud BI reporting workstream, taking ownership of the reporting catalogue, priorities and delivery plan.
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, explain options clearly, and build confidence in the reporting approach.
  • Support reporting rationalisation, helping the customer move away from unnecessary Legacy reports and focus on value-added outputs.
  • Provide guidance on reporting transformation, process improvement and best-practice use of Oracle Cloud reporting tools.
  • Engage effectively with the System Integrator, reviewing their reporting approach, challenging where appropriate, and holding them to account for delivery quality, progress and alignment to agreed requirements.
  • Work with technical and functional teams to assess reporting requirements, define solutions and support development activity later in the programme.
  • Bring a strong Oracle Cloud reporting background, ideally including OTBI, BI Publisher and/or FRS, with the ability to bridge business and technical discussions.
  • Communicate clearly and pragmatically, avoiding unnecessary complexity and ensuring stakeholders leave meetings with clarity on decisions, actions and next steps.
  • Take over from an established workstream position and move the reporting area forward with structure, pace and confidence.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud BI reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, and/or FRS.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to challenge existing reporting requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud BI Reporting Lead to support a major Oracle Fusion implementation programme. The role requires someone who can take ownership of the reporting workstream, build confidence with business stakeholders, and provide clear leadership across reporting catalogue management, rationalisation, design, development and delivery. This is not simply an as-is reporting role; the successful consultant will help the customer challenge existing reporting requirements, identify opportunities to simplify and improve reporting, and ensure the business has a clear, structured and achievable reporting approach.
