Oracle Batch Developer - Pro*C, PL/SQL

Location - Manchester/ Newcastle/ London (Hybrid 2 days per week onsite)

Duration - Long-term contract 5 Years

Experienced Oracle batch developer required. Oracle custom application 19C OLTP system running backend workload for major Government department. Highly integrated, mission-critical workloads supporting a wide variety of business functions across the several government departments and local authorities.

Skills:

  • Pro*C, PL/SQL and shell scripting.
  • Experience in developing and supporting batch processes and high-volume OLTP systems in either Oracle custom or Oracle Apps EBS.
  • Strong analytical skills required - including analysis of legacy codeset, working within a multi-disciplinary teams to impact requirements, input into solutioning process to drive out technical options, hands-on prototyping of potential solution approaches.
  • Capability to produce robust, highly performant code, experience of and capability with performance testing in a high-volume environments.
