Summary: The Oracle APEX Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing web applications using Oracle APEX for a key customer of CCGs. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, as well as ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. The successful candidate will also provide technical support and documentation for the applications developed. Proven experience in Oracle APEX and strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications, including pages, reports, forms, and interactive grids.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and optimise Oracle database schemas, including tables, views, packages, and procedures.
- Implement PL/SQL and SQL code for business logic and data manipulation.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of APEX applications.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with other developers, DBAs, and project managers.
- Provide technical support and documentation for developed applications.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Expertise in Oracle APEX versions (e.g., 5.x, 18c, 19c, 21c, 23c).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle Database.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
