We are looking for an ambitious, highly organised and proactive Operations Support Manager to work closely with the Operations Director and wider leadership team in a fast-paced operational environment. This is a varied and high-profile role that sits at the centre of business activity, providing executive support while helping to coordinate priorities, improve performance visibility and ensure the smooth running of key operational processes. You will play an important role in enabling senior leadership to focus on strategic delivery by managing the detail, driving actions forward and maintaining strong organisational control.
A key part of the role will be supporting the Operations Director with diary management, scheduling meetings, organising travel and coordinating day-to-day priorities. You will ensure time is managed effectively, meetings are well planned and all logistics are handled professionally and efficiently. This will also include preparing agendas, briefing packs, presentations and supporting documents in advance of meetings. You will take ownership of tracking actions and deliverables arising from leadership meetings, client reviews and operational forums. This includes following up with stakeholders, monitoring progress, chasing updates where required and ensuring agreed actions are completed within timescales.
The role also provides wider operational coordination support across the business. You will help organise governance activity such as leadership meetings, customer reviews, performance meetings and internal planning sessions, ensuring these are well managed, documented and outcomes focused. You will support business reporting and performance management by preparing reports, presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Using data from multiple sources, you will help produce clear insights, dashboards and updates that support decision-making, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Relationship management is another important part of the role. You will build effective working relationships with clients, internal teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a professional and reliable point of contact. You will attend senior management meetings where required and provide direct support to the Operations Director across a range of activities and priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad exposure across multiple business functions while working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and growing organisation.
About You You will have previous experience in executive support, business operations, administration or a similar role supporting senior leaders within a busy and fast-moving environment. You will be highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will be proactive, able to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly and work with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the confidence to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels. You will be discreet, trustworthy and able to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality. You should have advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word and SharePoint, and be confident producing polished reports, presentations and business documentation. Most importantly, you will be reliable, adaptable and motivated to deliver high standards consistently. If you enjoy working at pace, supporting senior decision makers and being central to operational success, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career.
Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required depending on business needs.
