Summary: This role is for a mid-senior Operations Loans Administrator within a busy banking operations function, focusing on the lending capital markets business. The position involves managing loan processing, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring timely transactions for syndicated and bilateral loans. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining loan data and reconciling funds flow while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage loan processing and support strategic planning for Heads.
- Ensure timely processing of syndicated and bilateral loan transactions.
- Administer multicurrency syndicated and bilateral loans including draw down, rollover, repayment, prepayment, and rate fixing.
- Maintain static data information related to the syndicated portfolio.
- Reconcile funds flow for syndicated bilateral transactions.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Treasury, and external stakeholders.
- Support Loan Application team members.
Key Skills:
- Strong Loans Administration experience in banking/financial services.
- Solid understanding of SWIFT payments.
- Experience managing bilateral and syndicated loans.
- Ability to calculate interest rates for loans.
- Experience managing daily loan and deposit settlements.

Responsibilities Duties will range from loan processing, supporting Heads in strategic planning; ensuring syndicated and bilateral loan transactions are processed in timely manner and managing the loan transaction and settlement of loan obligations. Administration of multicurrency syndicated, bilateral loans including draw down, rollover, repayment, prepayment and rate fixing. Maintenance of static data information pertaining to syndicated portfolio and timely reconciliation of funds flow relating to syndicated bilateral transactions Working with Front Office, Treasury and a range of external stakeholders as well as supporting Loan Application team members.
Requirements Suitable candidates will offer strong Loans Administration experience from a banking/financial services industry with a solid understanding of SWIFT payments. Experience managing bilateral and syndicated loans, calculating interest rates for loans, managing daily loan and deposit settlements. Good communication skills required to deal with a range of stakeholders as well as understanding of loan documentation and loan funding mechanisms. A 4-month + temporary position offering hybrid working options.
