Summary: The Operations Associate role is a 12-month contract position based in Glasgow, focusing on business analysis within a multinational financial services firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, define and document business and functional requirements within an Agile delivery environment
  • Analyse existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the redesign and automation of manual workflows to enhance control and operational efficiency
  • Produce clear process maps, documentation and requirements artefacts using agreed tools and standards
  • Engage with stakeholders to validate requirements, resolve gaps and ensure alignment across teams
  • Interpret data sets to identify risks, trends and support continuous improvement and governance initiatives

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Business Analysis within project or change environments
  • Experience in operations across client, middle or back office functions, including exposure to client assets and operational reporting
  • Strong understanding of reporting processes, calculations and financial data handling
  • Background in reconciliation or accounting within a financial services environment
  • Experience working with regulators, ideally including FCA frameworks or requirements
  • Strong analytical capability with requirements gathering experience, plus proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Visio
