Summary: The Operations Analyst, KYC Operations role at MoonPay involves ensuring compliance during customer onboarding and due diligence processes in the Web3 space. The position requires conducting identity verification reviews and collaborating with compliance teams to resolve escalations. The candidate will also be responsible for improving operational processes and serving as a subject matter expert in KYC/KYB regulations. This is a 6-month contractor role with potential for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute reviews of MoonPay customers across all levels of identity verification, including gathering information, verifying documentation, and conducting risk assessments.
• Meet performance KPIs including QA and productivity.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to resolve escalations.
• Create and maintain identity verification operational processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Identify and provide solutions for operational opportunities, with feedback and data to support recommendations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for KYC/KYB; act as an escalation point for other customer-facing teams.
• Complete assigned project work and train teammates and/or BPO partners as needed.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience performing AML/KYC reviews; domain expertise with KYC/KYB regulations.
• Experience working in fintech, web3, or crypto.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
