Summary: The Operations Analyst role in Glasgow involves acting as a key point of contact within the Derivatives Clearing Client Service Group for a global financial services firm. The position requires ensuring the accuracy of clients' settlement figures, resolving trade breaks, and providing exceptional client service in a high-volume processing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact across clients, Operations teams, Prime Brokerage, and global sales.
- Ensure accuracy of clients' Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing settlement figures on a daily basis.
- Resolve trade breaks and respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor all cash activity and ensure accounts remain fully margined and compliant.
- Support high-volume processing environment requiring strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Act as a key Relationship Manager, delivering exceptional service and client experience.
Key Skills:
- Experience acting as a single point of contact for client queries, coordinating across multiple teams to resolve issues.
- Strong understanding of margin risk management, expiries and key market events.
- Experience conducting client service reviews, producing call reports, performance metrics and trend analysis.
- Ability to calculate and adjust client commissions, fees and P&L accurately.
- Knowledge of listed derivatives or OTC clearing derivatives markets, regulatory frameworks, and client technology systems.
- Experience working with IT teams on the development, testing and rollout of client technology solutions.
- Strong experience in client service within Derivatives Clearing.
- Excellent communication skills and strong team player with clear, demonstrable examples of relevant experience.
