Summary: The Operational Technology / SCADA Engineer will support a large offshore wind farm project by overseeing various engineering and design tasks related to electrical systems. Responsibilities include managing documentation, participating in testing phases, and ensuring compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all EPCI packages during design, engineering production and commissioning
  • Take responsibility for specific tasks in the electrical System Design process of the OWF and the EPCI package execution
  • Participate in FAT, HAT and SAT
  • Ensure all documentation and activities comply with the Employer´s requirements and applicable standards
  • Support Telecoms scope - weekly meeting and follow up actions, support interface management between ONS ONS/WTG Telecoms
  • Lead topic of cyber security cyber risk assessments including review of documentation, cyber FAT/SAT testing, lead coordination with Orlen cyber team
  • General management of project fiber splice plans and coordination to ensure all systems are integrated
  • Attend FATs as required
  • Lead discussions with Ministry of Defense regarding project security systems
  • Provide back up support to LV engineer and Telecoms engineers
  • Support integration of radars/network connections cross packages
  • Support with install of communication systems - radio Tetra, 4G and ensure interfaces are managed
  • Manage integration of FOU ICCP
  • Support SCADA design review cross packages and attend FATS as required
  • Support OWF SCADA integration and procurement process if external company provides solutions
  • Support with design and testing of auxiliary systems such as weather stations/ Nav aids etc.

Key Skills:

  • Engineering degree at M.Sc. level or similar, in electrical engineering/power systems engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Operational Technology / SCADA Engineer Our client is looking for an experiance OT / Scada engineer to help assist on a large offshore windfarm project.
