Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Services Contract Manager to join a forward thinking Local Authority in Essex on an initial six month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a range of high profile operational and environmental projects, managing procurement activity, contract mobilisation and supplier performance across essential public services.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering and overseeing a portfolio of operational service contracts, ensuring projects are procured compliantly, mobilised successfully and deliver excellent outcomes for residents.
Projects include:
* Waste and recycling related procurements
* Environmental enforcement contracts
* Stray dog and abandoned vehicle services
* Fuel supply arrangements
* Public realm improvement projects
* Wheeled bin rollout programmes
* Park infrastructure and lighting projects
* Grounds and environmental service initiatives
* Lead end to end procurement exercises and contract mobilisation activities
* Manage supplier relationships and contract performance
* Monitor project delivery, budgets, risks and compliance

To be successful in this role, you will have:
