Summary: The Operational Risk Manager VP role is essential for overseeing Information Security, Cyber, and IT risk management within the organization. This position involves providing independent oversight of risk management activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong understanding of non-financial risk management principles. The position is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement for an initial duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Information Security/Cyber and IT Risk management frameworks and their implementation.
- Supporting EMEA entities and branches in line with service level agreements.
- Acting as an escalation point to senior risk management.
- Ensure the regional organisation operates to all legal and regulatory requirements affecting Information Security/Cyber and IT activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.
- Drive a second line approach to understanding the Information Security/Cyber and IT risk profile.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of non-financial risk management principles, primarily in technology.
- Strong understanding of EMEA wide regulation for Information Security/Cyber and IT in Financial Services.
- Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and oversee timely remediation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
