Group Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager urgently required by a leading Financial Services company on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role based flexibly from Swindon office (2 days / week on site). You will be responsible for enhancing the organisation’s resilience and readiness by leading the delivery of business continuity and crisis management initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, regulators, and internal teams to implement robust frameworks, testing response capabilities, and drive a culture of readiness across the business.

To be considered for this role applicants must have the following:

  • Proven experience delivering crisis management / business continuity / operational resilience programmes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA and PRA expectations
  • Experience creating, implementing, and embedding crisis response & business continuity playbooks across an organisation
  • Relevant professional certifications (CBCI / MBCI / ISO 22301)
  • Background in operational risk, resilience, or continuity planning within regulated sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and drive engagement
  • Experience leading cross-functional resilience or continuity initiatives at group or enterprise level

This is a business-critical, strategic role, operating as the main point of contact for all matters relating to business continuity, crisis management, and organisational resilience. You’ll provide subject matter expertise across the business, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices, while driving a culture of readiness and effective response. You’ll also manage and collaborate with our Business Continuity & Group Incident Manager to deliver on recommendations from a recent consultant-led discovery, ensuring that resilience efforts are both strategic and actionable. This is an initial 12 month fixed-term contract, offering a salary of £70,000 + 10% bonus + excellent benefits package.
