Summary: The Operational PMO Analyst role involves supporting a global IT function in delivering complex projects, with a focus on budget tracking, financial reporting, and data analysis. The position requires strong PMO and project coordination experience, working closely with project managers to ensure governance and successful project outcomes. This is a remote role with some office contact required, under a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative global delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured PMO support and coordination across multiple IT projects
- Track and report on budgets, forecasts, resource utilisation, and financial performance
- Maintain project documentation: plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports
- Manage and monitor project risks, issues, and change controls
- Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards in Excel
- Support project governance processes and the preparation of key governance materials
- Produce clear and concise minutes and actions from meetings
- Assist with smooth project transitions into Business-as-Usual (BAU)
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in a PMO, project support, or operational analyst role
- Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts, etc.)
- Exposure to working with financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and comfortability engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The ability to work independently with global and remote teams
