Summary: The Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs within a cGMP/aseptic manufacturing environment, focusing on capability building for over 600 staff across multiple sites. This role is initially a 3-6 month contract with strong potential for permanent hire. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Operational Excellence and training within the pharmaceutical sector, with a strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder engagement. Immediate availability is preferred for this position based in Newry, Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging, fit-for-purpose OpEx training modules.
- Deliver training across multiple levels - from operators and supervisors to mid-level leadership.
- Focus on cGMP essentials and good aseptic best practices.
- Support the embedding of operational excellence principles across manufacturing sites.
- Partner with operational leads to assess training needs and build capability.
- Help standardise training across the sites, ensuring consistent messaging and impact.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Training/L&D or similar roles within a GMP/aseptic manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, aseptic manufacturing and pharmaceutical production practices.
- Track record of developing and delivering training to diverse teams, from shop floor to management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites.

Our industry leading client are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to design and deliver high-impact training programmes across their Operations and Engineering teams. Operating within a cGMP/aseptic manufacturing environment, the opportunity is to develop and drive capability building across 600+ staff across multiple manufacturing sites.
