Summary: The Operational Excellence Manager role is a high-impact position within a leading global premium drinks business, focusing on driving strategic initiatives and enhancing operational performance. This role collaborates closely with various teams, including commercial, finance, and supply chain, to improve processes and organizational effectiveness. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the operational dynamics of the business across Northwest Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Managing Director and regional leadership team to prioritise and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical and operational support across key business workstreams.
  • Facilitate leadership planning cycles, including annual and mid-term strategic planning.
  • Drive stronger cross-functional collaboration and organisational alignment.
  • Lead initiatives to improve planning, reporting and performance measurement across the region.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to drive agility and productivity.
  • Work with regional teams and IT to implement new systems and automated ways of working.
  • Embed new business processes and ensure strong cross-functional adoption.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance and Marketing leaders to strengthen Sales & Business Planning processes.
  • Improve commercial tools, reporting and execution standards across the organisation.
  • Support the rollout and optimisation of commercial systems and trade investment processes.
  • Act as a key link between commercial teams and the supply chain to ensure operational alignment.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience in FMCG or branded consumer products, ideally within commercial, strategy or finance roles.
  • Strong business acumen with exposure to P&L performance.
  • Proven experience delivering cross-functional projects or transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed organisation.

CONTRACT ROLE: 6 - 12 Months A leading global premium drinks business is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager . This is a high-impact role supporting the Managing Director and senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, improve organisational effectiveness and enhance commercial execution across the region. This role sits at the centre of the business, partnering closely with commercial, finance, supply chain and category teams to improve processes, strengthen planning capabilities and drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Leadership Team Support
  • Partner with the Managing Director and regional leadership team to prioritise and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical and operational support across key business workstreams.
