Summary: The role of Site Operational Excellence Lead at Müller UK & Ireland is a hands-on position focused on driving performance improvement across various operational metrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive performance improvement across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Sustainability.
- Embed Müller Excellence tools and systems within the site.
- Coach, lead, and inspire teams to deliver real change.
- Work closely with the Site Lead and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Key Skills:
- Experience in FMCG and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of DMAIC, RCA, 5S, SMED, and other Operational Excellence tools.
- A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Confident coaching and change leadership skills.

We’re looking for a dynamic Operational Excellence Lead to join our team in Manchester on a 6-month fixed term contract (1st June – 1st December) to cover a period of absence. Start date is immediate , with some flexibility depending on availability. In this hands-on role, you’ll drive performance improvement across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Sustainability by embedding Müller Excellence tools and systems. You’ll coach, lead, and inspire teams to deliver real change, working closely with the Site Lead and SLT.
