Summary: The Operational Delivery Programme Lead is responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of an operational programme for a public client, focusing on workforce training, equipment procurement, and operational policies. The role requires collaboration with various staff groups to ensure a smooth transition to a new site while managing organizational and cultural changes. The successful candidate will engage with clinical leads and stakeholders to facilitate the program's objectives. This position is contracted for approximately 18-24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of an operational programme.
- Manage workforce training and preparation for staff and service users.
- Develop equipment procurement and provision strategies.
- Create and apply operational policies and procedures for service transition.
- Lead and assist clinical and support services to ensure effective change implementation.
- Collaborate with clinical leads and other personnel throughout the program.
- Support the transition to a new site across all staff groups including clinical, HR, operational, finance, and facilities.
- Assist the programme director and key stakeholders in managing the transition process.
Key Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical and managerial service sectors in health and social care.
- Proven senior-level management experience in health and social care.
- Experience in implementing new services or substantial service reconfiguration.
- Involvement in large capital projects related to new or changing services.
- Management qualification (Price2 practitioner, MSP Qualified) is desirable.
