Summary: The Senior SAP FI Specialist will lead the design, delivery, and governance of SAP Finance solutions, focusing on integration architecture and regulatory compliance. This hands-on role requires expertise in Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M) and SOX compliance, ensuring that finance solutions are operationally resilient and audit-ready. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver robust SAP FI solutions from design to go-live. Key responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of SAP FI initiatives and ensuring strong integration with third-party systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of SAP FI initiatives: design, configuration, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare support
- Produce high-quality functional and compliance documentation (BRD/FRD/FDD)
- Ensure solutions are audit-ready and aligned with governance standards
- Configure core FI components: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Design enterprise structures, ledgers, currencies, fiscal calendars, and master data hierarchies
- Deliver banking solutions including DME, EBS, BCM, and intercompany financial flows
- Design and support high-volume receivables processes (Contract Accounts, BP integration, clearing, dunning, payments, returns, charges, event framework)
- Integrate FI with CI/BRIM, payment providers, and billing ecosystems
- Define enterprise integration strategy, patterns, and governance standards
- Lead ISA-M workshops and advisory sessions
- Establish API, event-driven, and process integration guardrails
- Design resilient integrations with banks & payment gateways, tax engines & e-invoicing platforms, CRM, HR, procurement, treasury, and close tools
- Ensure strong reconciliation, monitoring, and error-handling frameworks
- Embed SOX controls across R2R, O2C, P2P, and Treasury
- Perform SoD analysis and manage ITGC controls
- Use tools such as SAP GRC, SOFY (or equivalents), ServiceNow, MetricStream, Soterion
- Support audit cycles and remediation activities with evidence-based reporting
- Lead design workshops and architecture discussions
- Translate complex SAP designs into clear business outcomes
- Drive alignment across business, IT, and external partners
- Own SIT/UAT execution and support deployment readiness
- Provide L2/L3 support and production issue resolution
- Improve integration performance, monitoring, and automation (CI/CD where applicable)
Key Skills:
- Deep SAP FI expertise: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- Strong S/4HANA Finance experience (ECC knowledge also valuable)
- Banking processes: DME, EBS, BCM, intercompany finance
- Strong understanding of CO-PA, ACDOCA, Fiori/CDS reporting
- Proven experience in SOX compliance, ITGC, SoD frameworks
- Hands-on exposure to GRC or equivalent tools (SAP GRC, SOFY, ServiceNow, etc.)

We are seeking a Senior SAP FI Specialist to lead the design, delivery, and governance of end-to-end SAP Finance solutions with a strong focus on integration architecture, third-party connectivity, and regulatory compliance.
This is a hands-on senior role where you will apply Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M) to shape integration strategy and patterns, while ensuring all finance solutions are SOX-compliant, auditable, and operationally resilient.
You will work across business, IT, and external partners to deliver robust SAP FI solutions from design through to go-live and hypercare, driving both technical excellence and financial control integrity.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Solution Ownership
