Summary: The Ongoing AML Monitoring Analyst role at CMS in Sheffield is a 24-month fixed-term contract aimed at individuals starting their careers in Risk and Compliance. The position involves ensuring client due diligence is up-to-date and compliant with Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Candidates will work closely with the Ongoing Monitoring Team to manage client risk profiles and support compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the risk profile of existing clients and identifying any changes.
- Liaising with Partners on client due diligence issues.
- Running company searches and press searches.
- Supporting the Deputy Money Laundering Officer with general AML administration.
- Assisting the AML team with research projects and compliance with AML regulations.
Key Skills:
- Educated to degree level and/or qualified in KYC/Compliance.
- Knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and the EU’s 5th Money Laundering Directive.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyze, research, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to work in a team.
- Enthusiastic and committed team member.
