Summary: The Oncology Pharmacist role is a locum position based in Salisbury, focusing on enhancing professional relationships within clinical cancer services and leading service improvement projects. The pharmacist will be integral to the Pharmacy Senior Management team and responsible for ensuring clinical screening aligns with best practices. The position requires experience in hospital cancer pharmacy and knowledge of the Aria prescribing system. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and enhancing professional relationships with the clinical cancer services team.
- Leading service improvement projects within cancer services.
- Ensuring clinical screening aligns with best clinical practice.
- Providing adequate cover for clinical screening.
- Managing and developing both the Senior Cancer Clinical Pharmacist and the Oncology Specialist Pharmacist.
- Being an integral member of the Pharmacy Senior Management team.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a hospital cancer specialist pharmacist.
- Knowledge of the Aria prescribing system.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
